Expanding environmental awareness across indoor and outdoor event operations

Recent air quality concerns across New Jersey and the surrounding region have reinforced how quickly environmental conditions can affect live events, hospitality operations, outdoor programs, and temporary event environments.

ShowPRO Productions has made a significant investment in professional grade, portable environmental monitoring technology to provide clients and venue partners with an additional layer of real time awareness during event operations.

The monitoring systems are being incorporated into ShowPRO’s event production procedures and are designed to help our technicians observe changing environmental conditions throughout the event day.

Depending on the event environment and monitoring configuration, available data may include:

• Fine particulate matter, including PM2.5

• Carbon dioxide levels• Temperature

• Relative humidity• Air quality trends

• Environmental condition alerts

• Recorded data for operational review

These systems are designed to remain active during event operations, allowing ShowPRO technicians to observe environmental trends and communicate unusual readings to the appropriate event representative.

Supporting Venue and Hospitality Operations

This initiative is not intended to replace hotel engineering departments, venue HVAC systems, certified environmental testing, or public safety guidance.

Instead, ShowPRO’s monitoring program is designed to support existing venue procedures by providing an additional source of real time information during conferences, meetings, live productions, outdoor events, and hospitality programs.

When unusual conditions are observed, ShowPRO personnel can notify the client and coordinate with venue management, hotel engineering, event leadership, or the designated onsite safety representative.

The objective is not to certify that an environment is safe or guarantee specific air quality conditions. The objective is to provide better information, improve communication, and support more informed operational decisions.

Environmental monitoring will be made available as a complimentary operational enhancement for qualifying ShowPRO Productions events.

ShowPRO technicians assigned to applicable indoor, outdoor, hospitality, and event environments will be trained on equipment placement, monitoring procedures, alert communication, and documentation protocols.
